IAB Names XAPP Ad to Short List of Top Digital Audio Marketing of 2015

IAB yesterday named the XAPP Ad for Mack Avenue Records artist Cecile McLorin Salvant as one of five finalists for the Mixx Awards honoring the top digital audio marketing work of 2015. The artist promotion ran on the NPR One mobile app and has been recognized for its innovative use of interactive audio technology to bring listeners closer to Salvant’s unique vocal style.

XAPPmedia today released the Internet Radio Ad Load Report for Q2 2015 and the data show that both the ad load and number of advertisers rose over the previous quarter. It also shows that Taco Bell, GEICO and NAPA had the heaviest spot rotation during the quarter.

XAPPmedia Raises $3.8 Million to Expand Interactive Audio Services for Internet Radio Publishers

XAPPmedia, provider of the first interactive audio content and advertising service, today announced it has received an additional $3.8 million in funding, bringing the total amount invested in the company to $6.8 million. The private investors who participated in the seed round also led the A1 funding round.
