We announced last week that the NPR One ad created using XAPPmedia’s interactive audio ads for Mack Avenue Records artist Cecile McLorin Salvant was named a finalist for the IAB MIXX award for best digital audio of 2015. The XAPP Ad made the Digital Audio category shortlist alongside Lexus, Axe, Sony, and Microsoft. The ad asked the listener if they would like to hear a sample of Salvant’s song and had an impressive 3.24% engagement rate of which 18% made the decision to go to the album purchase page.
